Demonde Jacobson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ayoví Costoya, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Demonde Jacobson made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Diego Narbona sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Ayoví Costoya took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Demonde Jacobson to make any attempt to save it. After 37 minutes of play, Club Puerto Quito's Moreta Besosa made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demonde Jacobson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Ayoví Costoya kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Demonde Jacobson. That made the score 9-0 in the 41 minute of play. When Finlay Stair came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Jamaica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Finlay Stair couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 9-0.

Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rufino Giron in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Ayoví Costoya left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Puerto Quito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0. 69 minutes into the game, Ayoví Costoya cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 14-0. Demonde Jacobson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ayoví Costoya in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Joakim Norberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Ayoví Costoya came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Ayoví Costoya left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Puerto Quito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 15-0. In the 84th minute Armando Larrieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Huemen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Jamaica defense, Rufino Giron kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. The Jamaica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demonde Jacobson should have stopped the shot. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ayoví Costoya, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Santiago Huemen kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Club Puerto Quito players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
