Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edgardo Silva kicked off to start the match. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Mina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 8th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeremy Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 19th minute of the match. Emmanuel Reyes made in the 21st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by New England Minas's Jörgen Frohm. The audience was convinced that Luz Tejedor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeremy Nicholas was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeremy Nicholas saved New England Minas from getting behind. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Edgardo Silva sent off a good shot on target. 35 minutes into the match, Peru's Luz Tejedor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeremy Nicholas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 37th minute Milagros Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Murillo struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Jeremy Nicholas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. A collision led to New England Minas getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Tony Pacheco hit a great ball. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Jeremy Nicholas in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 60 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Jeremy Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Silva in the 69th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremy Nicholas having to interfere. New England Minas made a substitution. Arturo Sito replaced Edgardo Silva. Jeremy Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 82nd minute of the match. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. A sloppy throw-in by Roman Major in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. After 85 played minutes New England Minas got a freekick which was hit by Xiao Bang Kun. Eliseo Mina took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jeremy Nicholas. New England Minas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The throw-in from Roman Major in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Jeremy Nicholas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rafael Gallo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 91 minute of play. The New England Minas fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
