Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edgardo Silva made the kick off which started today's match. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Silva in the 9th minute of play. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. New England Minas were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Colombia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Glen Conklin took the corner. New England Minas's Glen Conklin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedro Manzanares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Glen Conklin was slow to take the kick. During this time New England Minas's players had a chance to rest. Orlando Tafalla thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Pedro Manzanares, a very annoying self made goal in the 18th minute which led to 1-0. Edgardo Silva took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgardo Silva went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. If Edgardo Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgardo Silva's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. New England Minas's Glen Conklin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedro Manzanares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeremy Nicholas having to make a save. In the 37th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Antonio Indiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colombia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New England Minas the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Colombia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of New England Minas:s goal. Pedro Manzanares had in the 39thth minute some difficulties stopping Edgardo Silva's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Colombia's Axel Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeremy Nicholas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Edgardo Silva sped through Colombia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Edgardo Silva took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. 66 minutes into the match, New England Minas's Edgardo Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Edgardo Silva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New England Minas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. 70 minutes in the game, Ignacio Mastache fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jeremy Nicholas having to interfere. Edgardo Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, Ignacio Mastache reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jeremy Nicholas. The goal made the score 7-2. Jeremy Nicholas made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Abram Secada sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Sito in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Secada, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Sito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arturo Sito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95thth minute of the game Arturo Sito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After taking down the ball on New England Minas's corner Tio Lio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedro Manzanares quite easily take care of the ball. New England Minas's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
