When Agustín Saelices came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustín Saelices couldn't finish the play. Songur Yoran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Arsenal FC's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from David Brochu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Arsenal FC's goalkeeper Songur Yoran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC's goalkeeper Songur Yoran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. In the 63rd minute, Arsenal FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 84th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arsenal FC's Matthias Löfgren was substituted for David Brochu. After having played for 88 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
