Efrain Moruga charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Efrain Moruga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Gökalp Murat hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the game, Alan Moruga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Tasis made a kick off. ★ŞaNLı uRFa BiReCiK SPoR★'s Atahan Hasret proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save ★ŞaNLı uRFa BiReCiK SPoR★ from getting a goal against them. Lautaro Puig hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Gökalp Murat struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ★ŞaNLı uRFa BiReCiK SPoR★. Gökalp Murat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute Osman Tahir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After having played for 93 minutes, Celal Cabir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ★ŞaNLı uRFa BiReCiK SPoR★'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Celal Cabir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Although ★ŞaNLı uRFa BiReCiK SPoR★ had been in control for most of the match, Costa Rica still came away with the win.
