Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) DJK Füchtel Vechta's Gerold Zollt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 3rd minute of play. Gerold Zollt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 11th minute of the match. Gerold Zollt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 12th minute of play. DJK Füchtel Vechta's Gerold Zollt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 15th minute of play. Ovidiu Poenaru did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Dante Lacasa 17 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 21st minute of play forced DJK Füchtel Vechta's goalkeeper Gerold Zollt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidiu Poenaru got free with Dante Lacasa in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute of the match DJK Füchtel Vechta got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcus Terstappen ran over to the corner to take the kick. DJK Füchtel Vechta's Chris Kursawe was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dante Lacasa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 31st match minute, DJK Füchtel Vechta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jay-Jay Struwe to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerold Zollt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute, DJK Füchtel Vechta's Matthieu Richardot dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. If Matthieu Richardot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Pedro Cerezo struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DJK Füchtel Vechta. Wellington Nóbrega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ovidiu Poenaru was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of DJK Füchtel Vechta booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Terstappen in the 54th minute of play. DJK Füchtel Vechta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. After a rather tough play, DJK Füchtel Vechta's Jay-Jay Struwe got a free kick in the 59th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Joel Gaona kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gerold Zollt. That made the score 2-1 in the 64 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Gerold Zollt in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 70th minute of play forced DJK Füchtel Vechta's goalkeeper Gerold Zollt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rea Selbert kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. DJK Füchtel Vechta's Philipp Lahm was substituted for Rea Selbert. A collision led to DJK Füchtel Vechta getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Rea Selbert hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, DJK Füchtel Vechta's goalkeeper Gerold Zollt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Gerold Zollt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. DJK Füchtel Vechta made a substitution. Kai Baumbach replaced Chris Kursawe. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Gerold Zollt successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. DJK Füchtel Vechta were victorious despite being under pressure from Mexico for much of the match.
