Austra VFC's Dráuzio Cerezo was substituted for Maxim Vasilitã. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Pollard in the 79th minute of play forced Club Olimpia's goalkeeper Alfredo Aguilar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Wellington Pires recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alfredo Aguilar. Wellington Pires showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Alfredo Aguilar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Pollard in the 91st minute. Hudson Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelson Haedo in the 94th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Nelson Haedo notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Austra VFC's Hudson Gaúcho. Hudson Gaúcho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Club Olimpia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Austra VFC for a fine match.
