An unexpectedly hard shot by Beila Mora in the 3rd minute of play forced Club Olimpia's goalkeeper Alfredo Aguilar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Austra VFC's goalkeeper Hudson Gaúcho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roque Gora. 6 minutes into the match, Club Olimpia's goal looked a bit too open when Wellington Pires came free, but Alfredo Aguilar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hudson Gaúcho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roque Gora in the 9th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Austra VFC's goalkeeper Hudson Gaúcho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denis Inestrosa. Austra VFC's Hudson Gaúcho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Austra VFC from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute Ivar Dalman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Aguilar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hudson Gaúcho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denis Inestrosa in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Austra VFC's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Inestrosa came free, but Hudson Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sócrates Silva in the 32nd minute of play forced Club Olimpia's goalkeeper Alfredo Aguilar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Aguilar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wellington Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hudson Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Lidberg in the 40th minute of play. Douglas Tande kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. A hard shot by Raka Hadiman from long distance, 45 minutes into the match, got Hudson Gaúcho's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, Austra VFC's Maxim Vasilitã got a free kick in the 45th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Hudson Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Gora, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 53rdth minute of the game Nelson Haedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Austra VFC's Hudson Gaúcho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Club Olimpia getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Theofanis Karafanakis hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nelson Haedo in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hudson Gaúcho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 61st minute, Di Yang Lei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Olimpia's Alfredo Aguilar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Club Olimpia from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Zdraşcu in the 69th minute of play forced Austra VFC's goalkeeper Hudson Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Ferdinand Zdraşcu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Olimpia's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferdinand Zdraşcu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hudson Gaúcho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Austra VFC's Marcus Pollard was substituted for Sócrates Silva. The crowd rose to their feet as Austra VFC's Wellington Pires slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alfredo Aguilar. That made the score 0-1 after 77 minutes of play. Alfredo Aguilar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Pollard in the 84th minute of play. Hudson Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Lidberg in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute Club Olimpia were awarded a corner. Edmund Lidberg went to the cornerflag to take it. Nelson Haedo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Alfredo Aguilar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Pollard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Club Olimpia's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Pollard came free, but Alfredo Aguilar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Olimpia's 孙超星 got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After 95 minutes, Dráuzio Cerezo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Austra VFC and the Club Olimpia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Austra VFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! Hudson Gaúcho had in the 96thth minute some difficulties stopping Nelson Haedo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Austra VFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
