The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Apolo Agurto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Apolo Agurto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Apolo Agurto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 34 minutes into the game, Valentín Carvallo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Apolo Agurto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. Dapotan Eagles Fc's Chayo Gabas was substituted for Apolo Agurto. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chayo Gabas to strike the kick off in the second half. Valentín Carvallo hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match.
