Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 赵昆翔, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when 石翔伟 came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 81 minutes, 邵辉桑 made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Primitivo Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from 秦荣永 in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias. 5-0 became the score in the 89th minute when 柯寒 elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If 史建城 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
