Nils-Åke Liljas short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Bruno Barrett to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 8 minutes into the match, Nils-Åke Lilja notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Curacao's Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Jan-Erik Eklund took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Bruno Barrett to make any attempt to save it. Magne Stabbe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Troy Kennedy, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. With a little luck, Curacao's Bruno Barrett got control of the ball when Charles Vik tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Curacao's zone, Jan-Erik Eklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal and Jan-Erik Eklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Lindström in the 39th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Kyle Davies. Axel Lindström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. 48 minutes into the game, General Orginal's Nils-Åke Lilja nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan-Erik Eklund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Erik Eklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Troy Kennedy hit a great ball. In the 59thth minute of the game Nils-Åke Lilja who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Vik in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Erik Eklund came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, General Orginal's Henry Pilberg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Henry Pilberg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of General Orginal protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Henry Pilberg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 66th minute, Henry Pilberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kyle Davies fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magne Stabbe having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Nils-Åke Lilja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Rudolf Beckström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The General Orginal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Rocco Owen hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 75th match minute, General Orginal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olof Olofsson to maneuver through the defense. Kyle Davies could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Magne Stabbe made a huge save. Nils-Åke Lilja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olof Olofsson in the 81st minute of play. Troy Kennedy came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Magne Stabbe could save by the left post. Bruno Barrett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nils-Åke Lilja went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Charles Vik during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Charles Vik kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. General Orginal had won after a very even match.
