Hector Covarrubias kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. If Mattheo Smeulders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacobo Nores stood somewhat misplaced when Jérémy Doku came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 10 minute. If Primitivo Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jérémy Doku might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Nores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jérémy Doku ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jérémy Doku got free with Jacobo Nores in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Paraguay's Jacobo Nores got control of the ball when Jérémy Doku tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them. Jérémy Doku could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Jacobo Nores made a huge save. Ulan Bator Football Club's Mattheo Smeulders got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Jérémy Doku managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ulan Bator Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Jérémy Doku was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jérémy Doku's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Nores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paraguay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stephan Vanneste was slow to take the kick. During this time Ulan Bator Football Club's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Stephan Vanneste managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 42 minutes into the match, Kieth Hacke dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jacobo Nores, 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jérémy Doku in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 46 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Hector Covarrubias. Paraguay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Mattheo Smeulders scored to the left of an out of position Jacobo Nores, making the score, 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jérémy Doku was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Ulan Bator Football Club getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Stephan Vanneste hit a great ball. Alan Campos hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Mattheo Smeulders struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ulan Bator Football Club. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kieth Hacke in the 60th minute of play. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jérémy Doku in the 61st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Jérémy Doku stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Jérémy Doku tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Alan Campos got a free kick in the 64th minute. Stephan Vanneste took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 65th minute, Jérémy Doku made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jérémy Doku, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mattheo Smeulders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alan Campos hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Kieth Hacke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulan Bator Football Club made a substitution. Jarno Depelsmaker replaced Willy Smidts. When Kieth Hacke came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Ulan Bator Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kieth Hacke couldn't finish the play. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toon Teunens in the 96th minute of play. Ulan Bator Football Club were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Paraguay for a fine match.
