Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Willie McVurich started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Perry Malacad took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Quentin Coulthart. Quentin Coulthart dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Walter Buyco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walter Buyco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Quentin Coulthart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Tyler Stark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Totley's Walter Buyco got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Alex Yambot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frederico Balondo came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Ryde's Joe Bontine. But to his dismay, Joe Bontine quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The supporters of Totley booed when Ryde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. George McGugan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ryde's goalkeeper Quentin Coulthart, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 25 minutes in the game, Willie McVurich fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Frederico Balondo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Walter Buyco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Totley's supporters rose to their feet, but Walter Buyco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quentin Coulthart breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Perry Malacad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Quentin Coulthart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ryde's Quentin Coulthart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Buyco in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Walter Buyco to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Buyco in the 52nd minute of play forced Ryde's goalkeeper Quentin Coulthart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Perry Malacad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quentin Coulthart having to interfere. Joe Bontine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Willie McVurich came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Ryde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Willie McVurich couldn't finish the play. Frederico Balondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joe Bontine, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Joe Bontine had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frederico Balondo. Totley's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joe Bontine was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. If Perry Malacad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joe Bontine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederico Balondo having to interfere. Willie McVurich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederico Balondo having to interfere. Frederico Balondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joe Bontine, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 81st match minute, Totley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Yambot to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute, Willie McVurich ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frederico Balondo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Totley players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ryde.
