The tension between the Gronau and the Hertha Göteborg players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Gronau getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Adam Czajka hit a great ball. The Gronau players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hertha Göteborg were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Boguslaw Kajdasz made a kick off.
