Marlon Vede charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marlon Vede the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st minute, Marlon Vede hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Joe Bontine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romeo Flores in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quentin Coulthart saved Ryde from getting behind. Charla FC's Victorino Estevis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joe Bontine in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Stephen McIlzegowie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 played minutes, Charla FC's Martin Yermo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Quentin Coulthart came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Charla FC reached it. Charla FC's Victorino Estevis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joe Bontine in the 40th minute of play. When Charla FC's Romeo Flores in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ryde's goalie prevented a goal.

The wind increased when Willie McVurich made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Arias Hurdinosa suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Charla FC's Jaime Bengoa was substituted for Arias Hurdinosa. George McGugan kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Quentin Coulthart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Flores, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alonzo Camarero during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Alonzo Camarero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joe Bontine could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Victorino Estevis made a huge save. Martin Yermo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 66 minutes into the match. The referee gave Ryde a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by George McGugan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Charla FC's Victorino Estevis. 2-2. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Romeo Flores sped through Ryde's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Quentin Coulthart. After 79 played minutes Ryde got a freekick which was hit by Joe Bontine. In the 80th match minute, Charla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erwin Huidobro to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Charla FC had won after a very even match.
