In the 3rd minute, Aioros FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Roger Bannister fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 11 minutes, Reynardo Salto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rayland FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynardo Salto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Osasun Abastas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynardo Salto, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Ambrosio Marchamalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osasun Abastas having to interfere. Efraim Mill kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Roger Bannister recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Osasun Abastas. Roger Bannister showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, Rayland FC's Roger Bannister sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osasun Abastas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Roger Bannister dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Osasun Abastas, 2-0. 23 minutes into the match, Endrick de Souza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Osasun Abastas, 3-0. Erauso Septiem didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Efraim Mill went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Rayland FC's Erauso Septiem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tombolo Wa Kadima D'AoustDaoust in the 30th minute of play. Rayland FC's Ambrosio Marchamalo got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mitxel Botas hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Erauso Septiem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iban Agosto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tombolo Wa Kadima D'AoustDaoust scored 3-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erauso Septiem, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Erauso Septiem came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Aioros FC's Tombolo Wa Kadima D'AoustDaoust. But to his dismay, Tombolo Wa Kadima D'AoustDaoust quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Rayland FC's Veremundo Najar was substituted for Mitxel Botas. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tombolo Wa Kadima D'AoustDaoust to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Rayland FC booed when Aioros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Bezanilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Bannister in the 66th minute of play forced Aioros FC's goalkeeper Osasun Abastas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tombolo Wa Kadima D'AoustDaoust could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Erauso Septiem made a huge save. Rayland FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Iban Agosto scored to the left of an out of position Erauso Septiem, making the score, 3-4. Aioros FC were furious when Ferdinand Canellas was red carded, 80 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Aioros FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! Osasun Abastas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roger Bannister went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-4 was the resulting score. Osasun Abastas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynardo Salto in the 91st minute of play. Chaise Long's late challenge caught a Rayland FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chaise Long helped the player get up and apologised. Chaise Long kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Reynardo Salto struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Osasun Abastas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rayland FC. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
