The audience was convinced that Gabriel Gay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Almandoz Benegas was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Cristobal Arizabalo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Pasqua read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. The Didi Fútbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Almandoz Benegas should have stopped the shot. Gabriel Gay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almandoz Benegas having to interfere. Almandoz Benegas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Gay, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel Gay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Almandoz Benegas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Gay in the 75th minute. After 77 played minutes Didi Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Viator Heras.
