When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Sarracino Caval sped through Chivos de Punto Fijo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Martin Pasqua. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gayand Pombo in the 25th minute of play forced Rayland FC's goalkeeper Basajaun Lecuona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 minutes, Hermelando Berraondo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rayland FC and the Chivos de Punto Fijo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes Rayland FC got a freekick which was hit by Hermelando Berraondo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sarracino Caval in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Pasqua prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christopher Riverol in the 38th minute of play forced Rayland FC's goalkeeper Basajaun Lecuona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 played minutes Chivos de Punto Fijo got a freekick which was hit by Gayand Pombo. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Gayand Pombo made the kick off in the second half. Basajaun Lecuona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gayand Pombo in the 54th minute of play. Caradaro Azpilcueta hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Rayland FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christopher Riverol came free, but Basajaun Lecuona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Chivos de Punto Fijo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rayland FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Rayland FC.
