The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Jukatriz booed when Real Marabino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Oquendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amadeu Arruda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orlanda Aguiriano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Jukatriz's goal looked a bit too open when Franz Kafka came free, but Fernandão Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernandão Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louis Pasteur, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Fernandão Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louis Pasteur in the 16th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Louis Pasteur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandão Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Jukatriz's goal looked a bit too open when Louis Pasteur came free, but Fernandão Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucio Oquendo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Jukatriz's zone, Orlando Matienzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernandão Senna came out of the goal and Orlando Matienzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucio Oquendo struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Fernandão Senna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Marabino. 32 minutes into the match, Nestor Zornoza notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Jukatriz's Fernandão Senna. Fernandão Senna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jukatriz's Fernandão Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louis Pasteur in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Jukatriz's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Oquendo came free, but Fernandão Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Real Marabino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis-Carlos Gay to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Ulysses Teles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Orlanda Aguiriano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilson Gaspar in the 46th minute.

The wind increased when Amadeu Arruda made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rufo Coello in the 51st minute of play forced Jukatriz's goalkeeper Fernandão Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rufo Coello scored 0-2 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernandão Senna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Louis Pasteur got free with Fernandão Senna in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Louis Pasteur hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Jukatriz's Fernandão Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Oquendo in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Jukatriz's goal looked a bit too open when Louis Pasteur came free, but Fernandão Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Louis Pasteur got free with Fernandão Senna in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Real Marabino's Orlando Matienzo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The audience was convinced that Louis Pasteur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernandão Senna was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. If Lucio Oquendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernandão Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louis Pasteur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Real Marabino's Lucio Oquendo got a free kick in the 79th minute. Fernandão Senna was a little too slow when Louis Pasteur got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-3. Nestor Zornoza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Fernandão Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Jukatriz's Wilson Gaspar got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Jukatriz fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Real Marabino were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
