Dan Wennerqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 23rd minute of the match. Dan Wennerqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adrián Espadas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 35 minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Adrián Espadas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soroca F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrián Espadas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. Adrián Espadas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 52nd minute Adrián Espadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 minutes, Cássio Zonta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Soroca F.C. and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Soroca F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio Zonta to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Peru booed when Soroca F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Zonta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Soroca F.C.'s Cosme Jaen was substituted for Hernan Lano. A collision led to Soroca F.C. getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Cyprien Combaz hit a great ball. Milagros Fraga might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dan Wennerqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Milagros Fraga ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Răzvan Necula kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula. But to his dismay, Răzvan Necula quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. A collision led to Soroca F.C. getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Cosme Jaen hit a great ball. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. In the 83rd match minute, Soroca F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Jaen to maneuver through the defense. Alonso Berganza hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Wennerqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Gallo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Necula in the 90th minute of play. Dan Wennerqvist was a little too slow when Rafael Gallo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 3-1. The Soroca F.C. support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
