Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. Los Trip's Agustín Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milagros Fraga in the 14th minute of play. Agustín Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 15th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Peru's Alonso Berganza got a free kick in the 19th minute. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Capello in the 20th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Capello. In the 30th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustín Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Trip's Teodoro Munhoz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alonso Berganza in the 33 minute of the game. Moises Gayoso made in the 34th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Eliseo Mina however managed to control. Peru's Alonso Berganza quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Edelmiro Neto, made in the 36th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Capello in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Los Trip's Teodoro Munhoz got a free kick in the 44th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruno Capello to make the kick off. 54 minutes in the game Anthony Alvarado did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Moises Gayoso. Agustín Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 57th minute of the game was made by Edelmiro Neto with Edelmiro Neto as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Capello in the 59th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Alonso Berganza. Edelmiro Neto made in the 75th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Teodoro Munhoz however managed to control. After a rather tough play, Los Trip's CJ Asensio got a free kick in the 77th minute. Los Trip made a substitution. Luís Fernando Calderón De La Barca replaced Bruno Capello. CJ Asensio hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Alonso Berganza made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Los Trip's Teodoro Munhoz. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Julian Murillo took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Agustín Rossi to make any attempt to save it. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. In the 93rd minute, Luís Fernando Calderón De La Barca made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 95th minute, one of Peru:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Peru. Los Trip were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Peru for a fine match.
