An unexpectedly hard shot by Elano Salgado in the 9th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gianluigi Orange showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Gianluigi Orange showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 12th minute of the match. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. With his leg Marcos Cotilla managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Coice de Mula's Romário Custódio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 19th minute Luke Olle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 minutes, Romário Custódio made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Panama's Marcos Cotilla tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristo Ospin hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Snorri De Hond's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Cotilla was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. When Jose Carita fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Jose Carita a yellow card for diving instead. Jose Carita hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Snorri De Hond went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Snorri De Hond in the 92nd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Snorri De Hond notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Coice de Mula fully deserved thier win.
