Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Noworolnik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Zbyszek Pilipiec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Noworolnik in the 36th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zbyszek Pilipiec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hahay's Pankracy Galus was substituted for Adam Glembin. Bartlomiej Pilsudski thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Zbyszek Pilipiec, a very annoying self made goal in the 50th minute which led to 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Noworolnik to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Bernard Drugi came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Hahay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartlomiej Pilsudski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Daniel Noworolnik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Noworolnik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Daniel Noworolnik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 97 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. Costa Rica's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
