Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Karimi's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Red Army's Ricardinho Maia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 2-0 after 11 minutes of play. In the 14th minute Ali Karimi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Maia in the 15th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Axel Tasis came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Ricardinho Maia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. In the 30thth minute of the game Remigiusz Gabis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 34 in the game by Remigiusz Gabis from a close distance when the talented Benito Sanz managed to make a qualified save. Costa Rica's players were relieved. The crowd rose to their feet as Red Army's Remigiusz Gabis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 5-0 after 38 minutes of play. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Ali Karimi scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 7-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Tasis to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Ali Karimi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Ali Karimi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the match, Remigiusz Gabis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Remigiusz Gabis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardinho Maia in the 58th minute of play. The Red Army fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Red Army's Ali Karimi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Karimi in the 63rd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Karimi in the 63rd minute of the match. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ali Karimi went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the Red Army players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
