In the 31st minute, Bartolo Nuno made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartolo Nuno in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. Sebastian Villa kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 39thth minute of the game Bartolo Nuno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Bartolo Nuno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bartolo Nuno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Bartolo Nuno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Boca Juniors's Samuel Emesto was substituted for Alfredo Paraíba. With an all-out effort, Honduras's Primitivo Fernanco threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edmundo Espiga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 66th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. Ladislao Bertran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute Ladislao Bertran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Nuno came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bartolo Nuno's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 79th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Villa to maneuver through the defense. Luca Espinar charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luca Espinar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 81 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Luca Espinar. In the 84th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Villa to maneuver through the defense. After 86 minutes of play, Boca Juniors's Bartolo Nuno made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Bertran in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Pepito Santalla got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After 95 minutes of play, Boca Juniors's Bartolo Nuno made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Boca Juniors's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
