In the 15thth minute of the game Sven-Olof Vestlund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Adrogue FC's Franco Armani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Adrogue FC's Laureano Vergaray slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joar Scheie. That made the score 1-0 after 39 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

CAN ERZURUM made a substitution. Arda Turan replaced Santiago Aureo. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laureano Vergaray stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joar Scheie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Vergaray in the 59th minute of the match.
