Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dwight Schrute, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Pégasus F. C.'s Lu Xing Song was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 9th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dwight Schrute in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Lu Xing Song could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. In the 22nd minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umberto Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Dwight Schrute had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dwight Schrute was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. Lu Xing Song's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Joaquin Gayoso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Maximiliano Escribano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Escribano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Umberto Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 42nd minute, but Joaquin Gayoso got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Uruguay hanging dry this time. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dwight Schrute to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Carballal. Umberto Cunha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 55th minute. The Pégasus F. C. fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Pégasus F. C.'s Dwight Schrute looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Pégasus F. C. booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Maximiliano Escribano hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Lu Xing Song's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Qiao Ang Le, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.'s Qiao Ang Le in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. Uruguay's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jaime Cazalla in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lu Xing Song in the 94th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Pégasus F. C.'s Umberto Cunha got control of the ball when Maximiliano Escribano tried to sneak it across the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Uruguay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pégasus F. C..
