Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Águilas Poblanas's Eusebio Beltran started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Águilas Poblanas getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Martin Ubarna hit a great ball. Eusebio Beltran scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eusebio Beltran had several of the Costa Rica's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 9 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Benito Sanz as he didn't even see the shot coming. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliseo Noboa during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eliseo Noboa hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Matias Eder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusebio Beltrans short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Águilas Poblanas getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Victor Macias hit a great ball. After 22 minutes, Eusebio Beltran made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Águilas Poblanas's Eusebio Beltran ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Beltran in the 41st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Eusebio Beltran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Águilas Poblanas's Anıl Cenk Yılğıralp got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Beltran, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. When Águilas Poblanas's Eusebio Beltran in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusebio Beltran's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute Eusebio Beltran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Águilas Poblanas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Bilintx didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th match minute, Águilas Poblanas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Chabier to maneuver through the defense. Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st match minute, Águilas Poblanas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Ubarna to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, Águilas Poblanas's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Matias Eder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Noboa was shown his second yellow card after 78 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 84th minute Eusebio Beltran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86thth minute of the game Eusebio Beltran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusebio Beltran went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. After 90 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. In the 91st minute of the match Carmelo Bilintx sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz skillfully saved the ball. Carlo Ciolli might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlo Ciolli ran back to his position shaking his head. Águilas Poblanas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
