With a little luck, Paraguay's Jacobo Nores got control of the ball when Giorgian Arrascaeta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jacobo Nores was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Giorgian Arrascaeta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Warren FC - DMZ's José Romero was substituted for Bunda Cagara. The wind increased when Jaime Pardo made the kick off in the second half. Giorgian Arrascaeta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jacobo Nores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Warren FC - DMZ's Fellipe Machado was substituted for Hélio Nascimento. Ladislao Bermudo kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Giorgian Arrascaeta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Giorgian Arrascaeta put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jacobo Nores. After 84 minutes, Giorgian Arrascaeta made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Giorgian Arrascaeta might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Nores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Giorgian Arrascaeta ran back to his position shaking his head. Giorgian Arrascaeta's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giorgian Arrascaeta helped the player get up and apologised. Paraguay's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
