When Paulino Nascimento fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boulogne del Ciclón's protests and gave Paulino Nascimento a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Boulogne del Ciclón's Paulino Nascimento got a free kick in the 9th minute. Cassius Byrne struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Cassius Byrne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd match minute, Boulogne del Ciclón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Liberto to maneuver through the defense. Boulogne del Ciclón's Bonifacio Monte was substituted for Leopoldo Liberto. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cassius Byrne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Cassius Byrne got a very nice opportunity to score, but Daniel Moron was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. USA were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Boulogne del Ciclón's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cassius Byrne took the corner. USA's Raphael Moore was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Daniel Moron in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassius Byrne in the 54th minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Jacob May advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-1 in the 55th minute. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Monte, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 66 minutes into the game, Boulogne del Ciclón's Diego Quetara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Day made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Bonifacio Monte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boulogne del Ciclón's supporters rose to their feet, but Bonifacio Monte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Daniel Moron successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Edward Mcdonald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Daniel Moron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. The audience was convinced that Bonifacio Monte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. USA's Sam Campbell got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Moron was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sam Campbell showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 95 minute of play. If Sam Campbell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
