After 13 minutes of play, S.C.PAULISTA's Leonidas Orange made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, S.C.PAULISTA's César Eger got a free kick in the 17th minute. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. After 25 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Ferrant. In the 26th minute, Leonidas Orange made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Juan Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Leonidas Orange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. César Eger hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. A collision led to S.C.PAULISTA getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Olly May hit a great ball. César Eger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonidas Orange in the 45th minute. Gerrit Cronen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonidas Orange was the one to do the kick off. Leonidas Orange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Eger, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. César Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Jorge Neto in the 73rd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Benito Sanz's left hand side. After having played for 81 minutes, Kauã Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.C.PAULISTA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kauã Chaves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If César Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Hugo Ferrant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonidas Orange in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. S.C.PAULISTA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
