Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Axel Tasis made the kick off which started today's match. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbert Štriker in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Alcocer to maneuver through the defense. Themis Papadimoulis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 15th minute by Lv Kun Liang got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alan Moruga's late challenge caught a VfL Bad Nenndorf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Moruga helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Themis Papadimoulis sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Róbert Štriker, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute of the match VfL Bad Nenndorf got a corner. Costa Rica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zsolt Székely ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alexander Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, VfL Bad Nenndorf's Themis Papadimoulis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 34th minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, VfL Bad Nenndorf's Róbert Štriker dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. If Róbert Štriker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Benito Sanz managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when VfL Bad Nenndorf's Themis Papadimoulis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Themis Papadimoulis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Themis Papadimoulis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VfL Bad Nenndorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Themis Papadimoulis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Alexander Carballo hit a great ball. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Themis Papadimoulis's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Róbert Štriker in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. In the 62nd minute VfL Bad Nenndorf were awarded a corner. Zsolt Székely went to the cornerflag to take it. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Themis Papadimoulis sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Themis Papadimoulis took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 79 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Róbert Štriker came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Themis Papadimoulis, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The corner led VfL Bad Nenndorf's Zsolt Székely to fire away a dangerous shot which Benito Sanz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 88th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Alcocer to maneuver through the defense. In the 90thth minute of the game Roland Holthuis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roland Holthuis in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbert Štriker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. VfL Bad Nenndorf's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
