Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Seyfi Çırakoğlu made the kick off and thus started the match. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Seyfi Çırakoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Seyfi Çırakoğlu. Jörg Ehlers kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led Venezuela's Tomas Illescas to fire away a dangerous shot which Rafael Flamme despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Italia.1.FCKaiserslautern's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Flamme came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Seyfi Çırakoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Seyfi Çırakoğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Rafael Flamme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 36th minute of play. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Flamme having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucian Mărculescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Italia.1.FCKaiserslautern's Seyfi Çırakoğlu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camilo Gaos during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jörg Ehlers in the 54 minute of the game. Jean Moura lost his temper 57 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Italia.1.FCKaiserslautern fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! In the 58th minute there was a penalty for Venezuela. Tomas Illescas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rafael Flamme. 1-1. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Italia.1.FCKaiserslautern's Rafael Flamme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 65th minute of play. Eberhard Kaiser's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eberhard Kaiser helped the player get up and apologised. Eberhard Kaiser hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seyfi Çırakoğlu in the 78th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seyfi Çırakoğlu in the 82nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Seyfi Çırakoğlu took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 89th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafael Flamme made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Flamme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Italia.1.FCKaiserslautern walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
