Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jaime Pardo kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dário Mesquita. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gernando Proença in the 8th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16th play minutes Dário Mesquita shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Jacobo Nores and just under the crossbar into goal. Jacobo Nores was a little too slow when Dário Mesquita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 2-0. Gernando Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. Dário Mesquita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Jacobo Nores when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 30 minutes into the match, Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaltino Couto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Danone CC's Gernando Proença. But to his dismay, Gernando Proença quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Primitivo Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the game, Radu Podgoreanu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jacobo Nores. Radu Podgoreanu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. With a little luck, Paraguay's Jacobo Nores got control of the ball when Dário Mesquita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dário Mesquita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernando Proença, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Danone CC booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Campos didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dário Mesquita in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. After 55 minutes, Dário Mesquita made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Radu Podgoreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dário Mesquita in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gernando Proença in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Ademir Aparecido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dário Mesquita in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. Danone CC's Dário Mesquita got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Dário Mesquita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dário Mesquita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 74th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Escribano to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacobo Nores didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Danone CC's Gernando Proença shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 7-0 in the ordered_time% minute. 83 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Dário Mesquita came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gernando Proença scored 9-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Danone CC's Mané Novaes was substituted for Albert Vulpe. 93 minutes into the match, Jaime Pardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isaltino Couto. Danone CC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaime Pardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-1. Paraguay's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
