Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Gunnar Lidberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mörknäs Electric Vikings's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Felix Montenegro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Gunnar Lidberg came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Domingues in the 12th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Domingues in the 12th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mörknäs Electric Vikings's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunnar Lidberg came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Mörknäs Electric Vikings's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunnar Lidberg came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Silvanito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 30 minutes, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustín Saelices was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gunnar Lidberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Cesar Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gunnar Lidberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 40th minute of the match. Juan Sebastián Puig was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 44th minute of play forced Mörknäs Electric Vikings's goalkeeper Gunnar Lidberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Lidberg having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alejo Silvanito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Silvanito in the 53rd minute of play. Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Alejo Silvanito got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Per-Arne Åström hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Gunnar Lidberg got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gunnar Lidberg was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Gunnar Lidberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Mörknäs Electric Vikings from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jack Ekenberg in the 68th minute of the match. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Gunnar Lidberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Silvanito in the 72nd minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Ekenberg in the 76th minute of play. When Per-Arne Åström fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mörknäs Electric Vikings's protests and gave Per-Arne Åström a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Mörknäs Electric Vikings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Arne Åström didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Gunnar Lidberg got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Cristo Danel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gunnar Lidberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 82nd minute. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Alejo Silvanito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. 89 minutes into the game, Felix Montes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mörknäs Electric Vikings the free kick. After 89 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Gunnar Lidberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mörknäs Electric Vikings.
