Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joel Gaona made the kick off which started today's match. After 5 minutes, Sergio Herena made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Cavern Club's Vladimir Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 13th minute of play. Luca Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 18 minutes into the match, The Cavern Club's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Vladimir Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Herena in the 21st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in The Cavern Club's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimir Prestes came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute Jacob Albuquerque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergio Herena made a great header on The Cavern Club's corner, it was just that Mexico's Dante Lacasa managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience was convinced that Geovani Mendonça's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. The Cavern Club's Vladimir Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 40th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovani Mendonça in the 57th minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Vladimir Prestes made a huge save. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vladimir Prestes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Vladimir Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 65th minute of the match. With a little luck, The Cavern Club's Vladimir Prestes got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Facundo Cadaval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimir Prestes having to interfere. Vladimir Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 75th minute of play. Geovani Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimir Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Cavern Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Lorenzo Cazalla was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 83 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Mexico:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of The Cavern Club:s goal. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
