Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Johnny Ibarra came out and tried to block the shot, but Lautaro Mancebo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 87th minute. The Mexico players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
