Dorian Fernandez hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Damian Chorche blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armando Duarte having to make a save. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Avelinos's goalkeeper Armando Duarte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Avelinos's Armando Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesur Atik in the 27th minute of play. Juventud Unida S L's Cesur Atik suffered a sore foot after 35 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 35 minutes into the game, Dorian Fernandez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The wind increased when Damian Chorche made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Juventud Unida S L's Abel Urdaspal got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 65th minute Tiago Gabriel Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvīns van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Antônio de Lima threw the ball into play from the sideline. Juventud Unida S L's Nicanor Enol quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Damian Chorche might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Duarte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damian Chorche ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Armando Duarte successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 76 minutes into the game, one of Avelinos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Armando Duarte had in the 77thth minute some difficulties stopping José Raya's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Juventud Unida S L's goal looked a bit too open when Cenan Yılkan came free, but Edvīns van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edvīns van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robinho Nogueira in the 81st minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Apolo Lizbeth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juventud Unida S L's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Avelinos the free kick. After 95 played minutes Juventud Unida S L got a freekick which was hit by José Raya. Avelinos were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Juventud Unida S L to leave the ground with a draw.
