In the 8thth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los pibitos de mardel's Villagra Velis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Miguel Miralles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Villagra Velis having to interfere. Ruslan Maslenkin kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Abraham Alguacil sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Los pibitos de mardel's Villagra Velis didn't even have to move. Abraham Alguacil might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Villagra Velis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abraham Alguacil ran back to his position shaking his head. Alvaro Rodriguez kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Los pibitos de mardel's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Villagra Velis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Panama were awarded a corner. Abraham Alguacil went to the cornerflag to take it. Villagra Velis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los pibitos de mardel's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abraham Alguacil was slow to take the kick. During this time Panama's players had a chance to rest. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benicio Ramirez in the 35th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Izel, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Villagra Velis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernesto de Souza to strike the kick off in the second half. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Bilbo in the 51st minute of play. Alex Cambeiro hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Villagra Velis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. A collision led to Los pibitos de mardel getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ruslan Maslenkin hit a great ball. With a little luck, Los pibitos de mardel's Villagra Velis got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Villagra Velis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Miralles in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 67th minute Benicio Ramirez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 71 minutes into the game, when Aaron Barrios put in a rough tackle. In the 74th minute there was a penalty for Los pibitos de mardel. Higinio Xabat stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marcos Cotilla. 1-0. In the 79th minute, Niceto Izel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los pibitos de mardel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Bilbo in the 82nd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Bilbo, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Ermano kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Los pibitos de mardel's Benicio Ramirez. But to his dismay, Benicio Ramirez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Panama players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Los pibitos de mardel.
