In the 7th minute, Sporting Angola's Ubaldo Goyanes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ubaldo Goyanes succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 10th playminute. Ubaldo Goyanes came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ricardo Zorita could save by the left post. When Luis Rubio fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Luis Rubio a yellow card for diving instead. 23 minutes into the match, Ubaldo Goyanes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ricardo Zorita, 4-0. Ubaldo Goyanes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Zorita having to make a save. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo got a free kick in the 30th minute. Ciro Coscia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. Ubaldo Goyanes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Ricardo Zorita skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Sporting Angola's Ubaldo Goyanes in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. El Salvador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Ubaldo Goyanes scored to the left of an out of position Ricardo Zorita, making the score, 8-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moises Fernandino to make the kick off. A collision led to Sporting Angola getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Fabian Tomiczek hit a great ball. 53 minutes into the game, Sporting Angola's Ubaldo Goyanes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. 57 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Goyanes came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Tamayo kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ubaldo Goyanes went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. Ubaldo Goyanes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Zorita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute Ubaldo Goyanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72ndth minute of the game Ubaldo Goyanes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sporting Angola made a substitution. Tomas Gartzen replaced Ubaldo Goyanes. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Gartzen in the 84th minute of play. Sporting Angola's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Miguel Cunha in the 86th minute. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Gartzen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Şenol Yazıcı came free in the 94th minute and tried to tip the ball over Ricardo Zorita, but to the joy of El Salvador's supporters the ball went over.
