During the 15th minute of the match Damian Diagur completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Damian Diagur a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Damian Diagur got a free kick in the 16th minute. The audience was convinced that Lautaro Mancebo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angel Vito was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Angel Vito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 23rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Adilson Breckenfeld kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. After 32 minutes, Facundo Cadaval mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mexico and the Crottos Crotters F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peng Xiong in the 35th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Angel Vito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 37th minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Martin Biörkman. But to his dismay, Martin Biörkman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peng Xiong stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Peng Xiong left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Crottos Crotters F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peng Xiong in the 57th minute of play. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Angel Vito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 63rd minute of play. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Angel Vito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Facundo Cadaval slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Angel Vito. That made the score 3-2 after 72 minutes of play. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Angel Vito made a huge save. Benigno Elija's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Martin Biörkman hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Macos Graciani hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Martin Biörkman hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Crottos Crotters F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mexico had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
