The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Jochen Vogels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias-Alexander Terhorst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, KFC Vliegplein's Tomm Verbraecken got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 15th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomm Verbraecken hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustav Van den Bergh in the 25th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustav Van den Bergh struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KFC Vliegplein. The supporters of Venezuela booed when KFC Vliegplein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Van den Bergh didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mathias-Alexander Terhorst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas came free and shot a quick shot against goal 53 minutes in the game, fortunately Mathias-Alexander Terhorst had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustav Van den Bergh in the 54th minute of play. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 57th minute. When Xander Verstuyft fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KFC Vliegplein's protests and gave Xander Verstuyft a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, KFC Vliegplein's Xander Verstuyft got a free kick in the 59th minute. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Mathias-Alexander Terhorst didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. In the 67th match minute, KFC Vliegplein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomm Verbraecken to maneuver through the defense. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a KFC Vliegplein's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of KFC Vliegplein booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. KFC Vliegplein's Mathias-Alexander Terhorst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 73rd minute of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Venezuela fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Gustav Van den Bergh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Venezuela booed when KFC Vliegplein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomm Verbraecken didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 89 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mathias-Alexander Terhorst was left in no man's land by his defense there! The KFC Vliegplein supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Venezuela's performance. The match ended with a win for Venezuela.
