Canada's Jax Williamson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Canada from getting a goal against them. In the 17th minute Koby Wright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Crețu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Okan Kocs short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Jax Williamson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 23 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s Valeriu Morovan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jax Williamson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner led Stiinta-Univ.'s Shi Ming Sheng to fire away a dangerous shot which Jax Williamson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Shi Ming Sheng kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jax Williamson. That made the score 2-1 in the 33 minute of play. A collision led to Canada getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Richard Mccarthy hit a great ball. Jan Dixon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 45th minute, Richard Mccarthy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Jan Dixon ran back to his position shaking his head. Martin Crețu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Dixon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shi Ming Sheng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Martin Crețu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Dixon in the 86th minute of play. Martin Crețu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan Dixon in the 87th minute. The Canada players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
