Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Edgardo Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Edgardo Silva kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 14th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Axel Montenegro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jeremy Nicholas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 17th minute Edgardo Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20thth minute of the game Abram Sarmiento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Edgardo Silva scored 2-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeremy Nicholas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Axel Montenegro went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, New England Minas's Edgardo Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edgardo Silva scored 3-1 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. Edgardo Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgardo Silva in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. New England Minas made a substitution. Tio Lio replaced Alperen Öksüz. New England Minas's Xiao Bang Kun was substituted for Jörgen Frohm. New England Minas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Glen Conklin in the 61st minute. Abram Sarmiento's late challenge caught a New England Minas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abram Sarmiento helped the player get up and apologised. After 62 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Abram Sarmiento. After 62 played minutes, New England Minas's Glen Conklin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in New England Minas reached it. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Silva in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 71st minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Jeremy Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgardo Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Abram Secada's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Jeremy Nicholas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Antonio Indiano got a free kick in the 82nd minute. New England Minas's Arturo Sito was substituted for Edgardo Silva. Antonio Indiano kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Abram Secada's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Jeremy Nicholas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 91st minute, Arturo Sito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New England Minas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Colombia's Antonio Indiano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tony Pacheco in the 97 minute of the game. New England Minas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
