Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Albert Rutledge took the kick off in the first half of the match. Osvald Uters short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Joaquin Gayoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Felix Martinsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 11 minutes in the game, Albert Rutledge fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Felix Martinsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by LA VIOLA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Cazalla was slow to take the kick. During this time Uruguay's players had a chance to rest. In the 15th minute Sune Dahlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Francisco Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felix Martinsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Camilo Covarrubias hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Rutledge in the 19th minute of play. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Felix Martinsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gottfrid Brenner in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, LA VIOLA's Osvald Uter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 32nd minute, Francisco Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felix Martinsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The supporters of Uruguay booed when LA VIOLA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gottfrid Brenner didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, LA VIOLA's Osvald Uter got a free kick in the 42nd minute. LA VIOLA's Felix Martinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 43rd minute of play. Albert Rutledge charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albert Rutledge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The LA VIOLA fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when LA VIOLA's Albert Rutledge looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Francisco Seco in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Rutledge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. LA VIOLA had won after a very even match.
