Mátyás Papp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Alphonse, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Haiti's Ernso Constant got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Haiti's Felix Dorval got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 16th match minute, ToonSoldiers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Roikjer to maneuver through the defense. When Haiti's Jonathan Alphonse in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Philippe Ambroise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mátyás Papp having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Haiti's Rodney Emmanuel got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Egon Leesi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonathan Alphonse made a kick off. Mátyás Papp made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Jonathan Alphonse sent off a good shot on target. Alexander Roikjer kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Philippe Ambroise blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mátyás Papp having to make a save. Jonathan Alphonses short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Mátyás Papp to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mátyás Papp acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 75th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Saint Jean Pierre. Egon Leesi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Noel Seide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Jean Claude Ulysse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86thth minute of the game Jonathan Alphonse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ToonSoldiers FC's Mátyás Papp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Aadam Püss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ToonSoldiers FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Haiti had controlled the match.
