Garsås IF's Göran Lindholm managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alex Chicote in the 4 minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ola Lund in the 7th minute of the match. Ola Lund scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ola Lund, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 16 played minutes Garsås IF got a freekick which was hit by Göran Lindholm. 18 minutes into the game, Göran Lindholm threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 25th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the game, Ola Lund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jose Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ola Lund in the 43rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfons Sjö was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Önder Sezer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Ola Lund scored 6-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ola Lund's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ola Lund might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ola Lund ran back to his position shaking his head. 66 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Lund came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Alfons Sjö didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Ola Lund scored 7-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Garsås IF's Önder Sezer got a free kick in the 74th minute. After 78 minutes of play, Garsås IF's Sven-Ove Stål made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Sven-Ove Stål kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Garsås IF's attentive Göran Lindholm managed to snatch the ball when Alex Chicote made a throw-in in the 88th minute of the game. After 92nd play minutes Sven-Ove Stål shot 10-1, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Garsås IF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
