Jim Morrison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. Xavier Zoido hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 21st play minutes Mateo Palacio shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Jacobo Nores and just under the crossbar into goal. If Mateo Palacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jacobo Nores made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mateo Palacio in the 24th minute. Jacobo Nores was a little too slow when Mateo Palacio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 4-0. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Hector Covarrubias hit a great ball. Jim Morrison kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Mateo Palacio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mateo Palacio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 40 minutes into the match, Zjem Cię's Mateo Palacio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Nores narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zjem Cię's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tolek Wojtyna in the 41st minute. After taking down the ball on Zjem Cię's corner Iwo Cwynar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jacobo Nores quite easily take care of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

Zjem Cię made a substitution. Ciriaco Emenon replaced Tolek Wojtyna. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mateo Palacio to make the kick off. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Xavier Zoido got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 62nd minute, Manfred Hönisch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zjem Cię made a substitution. Murillo Cedeno replaced Iwo Cwynar. 66 minutes into the match, Mateo Palacio notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Palacio in the 94th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Zjem Cię had played much better football throughout.
