Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Alfonso Bikendi made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in RB Chubut's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Vassenius came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. RB Chubut were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lino Semeno took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Justino Heli to score against Jonathan Ferrant in Venezuela's goal. 1-0 after 17 minutes. Alex Chicote made in the 23rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by RB Chubut's Juan Sorin. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Bikendi in the 24th minute of the match. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Justino Heli charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justino Heli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to RB Chubut getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Justino Heli hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Bikendi in the 29th minute of play. RB Chubut's Juan Sorin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Salvador Gisbert, made in the 33rd minute of the game. 34 minutes into the match, RB Chubut's Alfonso Bikendi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 35 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lino Semeno who took care of the corner kick. RB Chubut's Lino Semeno was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The throw-in from Juan Sorin in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. Robert Vassenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 48 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robert Vassenius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. RB Chubut made a substitution. Isaac Mingo replaced Justino Heli. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

RB Chubut made a substitution. Andrézinho Pelé replaced Alfonso Bikendi. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Andrézinho Pelé scored 2-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 70 minutes into the match, Andrézinho Pelé had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrézinho Pelé was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Andrézinho Pelé received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrézinho Pelé sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrézinho Pelé recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andrézinho Pelé's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrézinho Pelé went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The RB Chubut fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
