Leonardo-Ismael von Liechtenstein scored 3-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by CZERSTWE Świnie's Leonardo-Ismael von Liechtenstein. But to his dismay, Leonardo-Ismael von Liechtenstein quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. When Juan Rubio fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Juan Rubio a yellow card for diving instead. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. A hard shot 25 in the game by Alex De Souza from a close distance when the talented Benito Sanz managed to make a qualified save. Costa Rica's players were relieved. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alex De Souza was the one to do the kick off. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there!
